I seem to have had a spot in a mole on my face which has now...?

now scabbed over, is raised & little sore - should I be worried? I sometimes get a hair that sticks out of it, so could it be related to that? I will be booking a docs appointment anyway... just worringly scaring myself that it might be something sinister :(
