Any tips on dating????.....? please help?

i dont know if this is just me but i dont have much luck with relationships. i do talk to females and have female friends but when it seems that i want to start a relationship with someone i meet it seems that i end up loosing that specific person... i dont know if this is just me but i am not your average guy. i am kinda old fashion i respect women and give them all the respect they deserve, so what im asking is what advise do u ahve for someone who isn't out their to play omen and just get layed like everyone else?
