Why do some parents go shopping with their teenage children?

all right ima 15yr old girl i always wanted to go shopping by myself ever since like 4, 5, or 6 grade. this year i'm in the 8th grade bout 2 graduate and she picked out the okay dress [ not too ugly but not to cute] for me 2wear on exit day. now at the time i didnt noe dat my school had to wear a t-shirt and khaki pants. wen they told me dis shhh i was pissed off. the dress only looked nice on exit day not graduation day and now i have the dress in my closet with some very y sliver heels.
